1. Overview

This website and all related services are operated by Cardboard Vault.
Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Cardboard Vault.

By accessing our website, purchasing products, attending events, or engaging in our social platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, along with our associated policies (including Shipping, Returns & Refunds, and Privacy Policies).

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility & Use of Services

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian

  • You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements

  • You will use our services for lawful purposes only

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

3. Products & Services

Cardboard Vault offers:

  • Trading cards (sealed, singles, graded)

  • Tabletop games and miniatures

  • Rip & ship services (Whatnot, Ebay, Live streaming)

  • Online and in-store retail

  • Events and community activities

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise

  • Prices may change without notice

  • Full payment is required before orders are processed or services are provided

In the event of a pricing or listing error, we reserve the right to cancel or amend orders and issue a refund where applicable.

5. Orders & Acceptance

  • Orders are considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed

  • We reserve the right to cancel orders due to:

    • Stock shortages

    • Suspected fraud

    • Pricing errors

    • Breach of these Terms

If an order is cancelled, customers will be notified and refunded where applicable.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is subject to our Shipping Policy.

Risk passes to the customer once the order is handed to the shipping carrier, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

All sales are final except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Rip & Ship Services

By participating in any rip & ship service (via Whatnot, eBay, or direct), you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Products opened live are final sale

  • Contents are random and cannot be influenced

  • No refunds or exchanges apply once product is opened

  • Shipping will occur within the stated timeframe

Cardboard Vault is not responsible for:

  • Platform outages

  • Technical issues

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Pull outcomes or card rarity

9. Pre-Orders

  • Pre-orders require full payment unless stated otherwise

  • Release dates are estimates and subject to supplier delays

  • Pre-orders are non-refundable

  • Supplier allocation changes may occur

If a product is cancelled by a supplier, a refund or store credit will be issued.

10. Events & Community Conduct

  • Event entry fees are non-refundable unless cancelled by Cardboard Vault

  • Participants must conduct themselves respectfully

  • We reserve the right to remove any individual engaging in disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour

  • Store credit prizes are non-transferable

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, branding, images, text, and media, is the property of Cardboard Vault and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Cardboard Vault is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to our services

  • We are not responsible for market value changes, grading outcomes, or collectible investment performance

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Cardboard Vault harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of our services

  • Breach of these Terms

  • Violation of applicable laws

14. Fraud, Abuse & Chargebacks

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:

  • Chargeback abuse

  • False claims

  • Platform manipulation

  • Harassment or abuse of staff

Accounts engaging in such behaviour may be restricted or permanently banned.

15. Privacy

Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy.
